Virtual Chess Classes

All classes begin with a professional chess lecture on Zoom. Each lecture is unique and tailored to fit the skill level of the students in the group. After the lecture the group will play chess in a dedicated virtual classroom on the LiChess website. The 3 skill groups are defined below.

Novice

Novice players know the rules of the game and how the pieces move. They are new to strategy and tactics.

Intermediate

Intermediate players have a good understanding of basic fundamentals, strategy, and tactics. They desire to learn more advanced concepts and ideas.

Advanced

For competitive players who either have an official chess rating, or enjoy more challenging lectures and competition. Lectures are designed to improve tournament performance.
